Week 6 Day 1...Again!

Okay so last week was a little busy with the move, so I didn't make time to run Day 2 and 3, so I decided I would repeat the week. We are getting settled into the new house if you want to check out a video of the out side of the house check out Jay's blog www.3acrestudio.blogspot.com.

We are living in the country now, so I can walk out the front door and on to the gravel road, and off we go. No more trips to the park or people to restrain the dogs from, just hit the road. So tonight Jay and the dogs all went with. I ran the program, Jay walked. The dogs kept pace with me. I was really glad Jay went with, I'm not the bravest country gal just yet, so I figured if a rabid racoon jumped out into my running path, that possibly Jay would be close enough to hear me scream. Or maybe the dogs would at least bark and scare it away.

The run was hard. I was running on gravel, which a first for me. It didn't seem that much different at first, but I was struggling by the end. I'm not sure if it was the gravel or the tacos I decided to eat prior to running, but I was struggling to finish tonight. I'm making a 30 minute waiting period after eating...no running after eating...very bad. I made it, but it was not looking good there for a few minutes!

First run at the new house, I'm gonna call it a success!
