Day 2 work out
10 min run
3 min walk
10 min run
Wow, 10 mins is a long time. I still think back to when 5 mins was unthinkably hard, but 10 mins isn't too bad the first time. The second 10 min run is still tough. I have to keep giving myself little pep talks the last few mins. I feel like yelling at myself, come on you Wimp, finish it. I almost need my high school swim coach, Coach McCaw to blow his whistle and scream "Come on Kalkowski finish it strong don't quit on me now!" Jay's been going with me the last few nights, maybe this could be his job. Except I really don't want to get him started on the habit of yelling at me...it's just too early in our marriage for that.
Annie is a champ at running. She is definitely hitting her stride. She's running and looking back at me wondering what is taking me so long. She does collapse and just lay by the water dish when we get home, so I do think she is just as tired as me. One of the good things is now the dogs know that after dinner, about 6:00-ish we go for walks. Tonight they even started to pester me because I was playing with my new laptop and not getting my shoes on fast enough. I guess their pestering will be a good reminder to get out and keep up with the exercising. I just wonder if they understand rain days, or really cold winter days?

Giving Jay permission to yell? Not a good idea!! Almost as bad a running out of the good kind of coffee! Keep up the great work! Just think how far you have come from that first night!
