Week 1 Day 2

Okay first, let me tell you about my day. Right now I live an hour away from where I work. So I have to leave pretty early for work on a normal day. This morning I thought that I had a training session that started at 6am, that I had to set up for. So I woke up this morning at 4am to get to work on time. I get there, I'm setting up the tables and I'll be damned if, Brad, my counterpart at work asked me why I was setting up for the training...I looked at him like he was dumb and said because the training starts at 6. Well, I was right, it starts at 6...tomorrow morning...so I got up early for nothing! And to make it worse I volunteered to cover the night shift meeting for a co-worker who need me to help...guess what time that's at? 6pm...so 14 hours later I'm at home.

On the way home Jay tells me that the realtor wants to show the house tomorrow at 1pm. So that means we need to make the house look like no one lives there...Which is no easy feat when you have 2 large dogs and my lazy tendencies! The bright spot was that Jay had dinner ready when I got home. He made this awesome chicken on the grill. I loved it and wanted to know how he made it..he says it's his secret, so I guess he'll just have to keep making it for me!

Oh yeah, running...so I had every reason in the world to not go running. I mean did you not hear the day I had?...I am happy to report that I went running anyway! The hardest part was not the actual running...it was getting out of the door. It was the same workout as Day 1, so I don't think it wasn't harder...It was definitely hotter, but I can make the time with out a problem. But I know for a fact that if you all weren't going to be checking on me I would have let my long day talk me out of running...so Annie and I Thank you for keep us honest!

  1. Oops...seems I jumped the gun. I posted BEFORE you posted :) Just trying to be a good cheerleader. No way would I have been able to go running after putting in 14 hours at work. My hat's off to you two. What a pair. Maybe I could persuade my son to cook for you every night while you are out there sweating off the pounds. I'll work on that.
